Our Classes
We rotate what classes we offer to be able to offer as many different classes as possible.
If there is a class you are interested in please join the waitlist on the calendar.
It lets me know how many people would be interested if I ran this particular class!
Foundations Skills
The skills taught in this class are perfect for puppies, adolescents or new to you rescues who might need help learning how to be successful in the human world. We focus on skills like relaxation, self regulation, and focus on handler through different pattern games and training loops.
Obedience Skills
This class is where we start to get fancy with our skills. This class will focus on the skills needed for an obedience trial, this is not a high pressure class. We are working on our team work with our dog to complete skills like heeling around obstacles, stay in one position for stay, and recall around distractions.
Canine Good Citizen
The AKC Canine Good Citizen title is a fun title to earn with your dog to show off all of the work you have put in to teach them how to be successful with their obedience skills. In this class we work through the different skills tested in this title. Skills such as loose leash walking, walking through crowds, stay, recall and much more.
Rally Obedience
Rally is slightly different than classic obedience, but share a lot of similarities in improving your dog’s skills in different ways. In Rally there are signs on the course and you work as a team to flow through the course together. You are allowed to talk to and encourage your dog and the rules are a little more lax. This is a fun family sport that anyone can participate in!
Agility Foundations
Agility is a fantastic team sport to play with your dog! Working together to learn how to navigate a course including things like jumps, tunnels and weaves! This class is the perfect one to dip your toe into dog sports and see if you and your pup enjoy it!
Control Unleashed - Reactivity
If your dog has big feelings about things in the world, this class is for you. Dogs can have big feelings about many things, the most common being about seeing other dogs or people. Whether your dogs are excited and can’t contain themselves or stressed and want the thing to go away, this class will help!
